
Named One of the Top 50 Most Influential Women Lawyers by the National Law Journal and one of 30 Extraordinary Women in Texas Law by Texas Lawyer, Jerry Clements serves as Chair of Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell. Before that, she served as Managing Partner of Locke Liddell & Sapp and headed Locke Liddell’s Litigation Section from 2001-2006. She has been named one of the “Top Ten Litigators” by the Dallas Business Journal. During her 27 years of litigation experience, Ms. Clements has represented Fortune 500 companies across a wide range of industries and built an impressive record of resolutions in complex disputes in the area of commercial litigation.
She believes in working collaboratively with her clients to achieve their business objectives. Her close, long-term client relationships allow her to respond proactively in solving such complex challenges as contract disputes and fraud claims, trade secret litigation, covenants not to compete litigation, oil and gas litigation, high technology litigation, environmental insurance coverage disputes, class actions, and employment litigation.

Representation of a large dental and medical supply company in connection with the defense of a purported nationwide class action involving the sale of dental office management software.

Representation of a large manufacturing company in connection with a failed implementation of ERP software.

Representation of a large software manufacturer in connection with a purported nationwide class action involving over 11,000,000 class members who claimed that the software was defective and could result in data loss. This class was eventually decertified, and the claims brought by the plaintiffs were non-suited.

Representation of a large international oil and gas exploration and development company in connection with various class actions in Texas and Oklahoma involving claims for alleged underpayment of gas royalties.
